With adult students I like to know first of all the reason for learning Spanish, and of course the Spanish level he/she has to start with.

Do you need Spanish for personal reasons or for business reasons.

Do you want to learn Spanish because you want to learn a new language, or do you want to learn Spanish for when you go on vacation to be able to go shopping, or to order a coffee on a terrace?

Do you need a more specific Spanish because you need it for your work, for commercial reasons or to negotiate?

With my adult students I use different methodologies depending on the needs, capacity and level of each student.

We are all diferent people and we all learn in a different way. So it’s very important to focus on each student individually.

Through magazine or newspaper articles, flash cards, storyteller dice, etc. classes can be very fun and contribute a lot to our learning process. It is also very important to interact, exchange opinions, hobbies, cultures and customs.

My main target is to speak, pronounce, listen and recognize…after all, that is the most important thing in communication and interaction with people. But we certainly don’t forget the grammar part, according to the individual level of each student, which is also necessary to speak and write correctly in the languages.

Having conversations we lose fear and gain fluency and confidence in our new language.
